Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all Capital Assets that belong to the University tagged and recorded accurately and in a timely manner. The position functions as the Capital Assets Officer and in that capacity, the position will plan and supervise the annual inventory of all of the University's fixed assets. Inaccuracies in the reporting of the fixed assets can negate an audit finding by the State's Auditors. Additionally, the position will manage the University's debt service to ensure that all debt obligations are satisfied and all reporting requirement are completed.
Bachelors degree and 2-4 yrs experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position are: professional financial monitoring and analysis, decision making and problem solving, supervision, communication, and interpersonal skills.
