Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the State where the applicant resides and must be insurable as defined in the UT System UTS 157, as applicable to the performance of essential duties and responsibilities of the position. All staff who drive on Official University Business must observe all applicable laws and have a valid driver's license issued in the state where they permanently reside that is not currently suspended or revoked as defined in UT System UTS 157.

Purpose of Position
Implements, analyzes, and accesses SFS activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and in accordance with project parameters. Performs complex project analyst work.
Essential Functions
Analyzes, defines, and documents project requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and required resources; assists in conducting analyses to determine the effects of the recommended project, and performs statistical analyses to review trends, estimates, and the impact of significant changes.
Compiles and analyzes Federal, State and institutional financial aid and scholarship information for 500 plus accounts in the SFS's student information systems and projected fund allocations.
Designs metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, for each of the project's components.
Collects and analyzes data and makes recommendations as deemed necessary.
Assists with the processing of external and internal aid resources for students within the student management system and monitors all grants, scholarships, work-study and loan expenditures, encumbrances, allocations, etc., based on various reports and disbursement schedules.

Participates in the working group responsible for bringing up the new aid award year within the system with a specific focus on updating aid forms, communications, and other related tasks associated with this annual process.
Assists with on-campus and off-campus financial aid activities. Participates in professional development activities, such as training and online webinar events associated with financial aid. Assists in conducting webinars and financial aid workshops and presentations on and off campus for traditional and non-traditional students and parents.
Serves as a liaison to EPCC Community College students and external contacts; responds to inquiries pertaining to financial aid and any required information on behalf of students. Answers numerous inquiries from students and parents regarding financial aid.
Prepares project reports for management and others; confers with project personnel to provide advice and resolve problems.
Ensures compliance of federal and state regulations as well as institutional policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of student records and other confidential information.
Assists in accomplishing various SFS projects.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all Federal, State, and University policies.
Other duties may be assigned.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four year college or university within area of assigned responsibility.
Three years related experience in implementing and conducting studies and analyses, evaluating factors relating to programs and projects, and overseeing the collection of information pertinent to program. Ability to assist with all outreach activities provided by the SFS unit.
