About the Opportunity:
As a key member of the Finance Operations Team in the Office of the Chancellor the Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Senior Director of Finance on short-term and long-term financial planning, financial modeling, fiscal dashboards and KPI's for business units under the Office of the Chancellor portfolio.

Responsibilities:
The senior financial analyst is responsible for handling the core financial planning & reporting processes that are the basis for management decision, strategy and planning. This role will support all aspects of the fiscal analysis including capital investments, staffing analysis, lease analysis (Domestic & International) and other operating costs, in order to develop contribution, break-even, and ROI analyses.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred (MBA or MPA).
  • At least 8 years' of professional experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, financial modeling and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain financial data and concepts to non-finance staff as well as provide training on financial systems and reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment with agility, curiosity, and passion to create extraordinary value
  • Strong ability to pivot between projects and priorities
  • Customer service focused and ability to exercise high degree of professionalism
  • Must be able to manage deadlines and has a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across units.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and manage thru sensitive situations in a calm, thoughtful and professional manner.
